Ten Hats in Ten Weeks

This past weekend, a representative of Save the Children visited the Three Rivers Crochet Group to talk to us about “Knit One, Save One: a Campaign to Save Millions of Babies”.  They are asking knitters and crocheters to donate knitted caps for newborns in developing countries.  These will be included in survival kits that provide such elemental basics as a razor blade to cut the cord.  So this is my “pledge” to knit one cap a week until the December 31st deadline to help.

More info on Save the Children’s “Knit One, Save One” campaign can be found here.

  1. What a wonderful cause! I’m going to look into it too!

  2. I love your work! My coworker is a mad knitter and crocheter. Every day she’s knitting me mittens and scarves! I am SOOO lucky but completely envious of her talent (and yours!)
